Beautiful day yesterday and so much fun. Had two classes, Erica's Heart and Harmony, lots of beautiful colors and of course new incredible quilter friends! I really love watching quilters create beautiful designs with so many different colors. One of the great things about quilting, watching each piece take on its own special personality. Then to top it off, a very tasty dinner with new friends with a perfect sunset over the water and mountains. Such a great day. Today is the mystery, Wandering Star, lots of curious quilters........... More pictures to come from class later today and then the mystery will be revealed!

Loving Sitka!

I arrived Friday to Sitka and have been blessed by an incredible hostess with an incredible home and yes, an incredible VIEW!!!! Thank you Sharon and Ocean Wave Quilters for having me. My adventure started Wednesday with a mini tour through downtown and a wonderful history lesson. I loved it. Yesterday I visited Totem Park, wonderful, and finished the day with a trunk show. I had so much fun meeting lots of quilters and of course having a captive audience, I had covered all the escape routes..... Today I will start classes, we are doing Erica's Heart first and then Harmony. I am looking forward to meeting new faces and of course lots of quilt making...

Wow, first round of classes for the Wandering Star mystery finished.......and oh, what fun. I had two classes this week with a total of 13 quilters, and the colors are incredible. I am anxious to share pictures BUT.................have one more class this next Saturday in SITKA! I am so excited to go visit and meet more quilters, they are some of my most favorite people in the world. Here is another shot of the back, quilting by Sharon Hughes, (I know, it's awesome), to tantalize and.....well, basically just to tantalize. Look for a bunch of pictures this coming Saturday or Sunday. You will be inspired. I know I was.
